Billing Guide

How billing works

What you are charged, when the invoice appears, and exactly what happens if you stop paying.

The short version

The billing cycle

Your cycle is 30 days long and starts the moment your payment is confirmed. If you subscribe on the 3rd, your next renewal is 30 days later — not the 3rd of next month. Every cycle is the same length, so a short month never costs you days.

Your monthly credit allowance is granted on the same 30-day rhythm, so credits and billing stay in step for the life of the subscription.

Some plans can also be paid for a year at a time. Where a yearly price is offered you will see a Monthly / Yearly toggle on the plan; a yearly term runs 365 days and grants twelve months of credits up front. Plans without a yearly price are sold monthly only.

What each plan costs

Plan Per 30 days Per year Credits
Starter $3.99 $43.89 38,000 / cycle
Pro $7.99 $87.89 76,000 / cycle
Creator $11.99 $131.89 114,000 / cycle
Legend $23.99 $263.89 230,000 / cycle

Prices are shown in USD. If your account displays another currency, the converted amount appears at checkout and on the invoice, with the USD figure alongside it.

Invoices

An invoice is created at the start of each cycle, before payment — it is the record of what you owe, not a receipt for what you have paid. You will find it under Account → Billing the moment the cycle turns over.

StatusMeans
IssuedRaised and awaiting payment. Shows its due date.
OverdueStill unpaid past the due date. Access ends when the grace window closes.
PaidSettled. The invoice keeps its original number.
Void / RefundedCancelled, or paid then returned.

Every invoice is numbered sequentially (INV-0001, and so on) and downloadable as a PDF from the same screen. Paying a renewal settles the invoice that was already issued — you never receive two documents for the same charge.

Renewing

We do not auto-charge a stored card. Every renewal is something you choose to pay, through whichever gateway you prefer. That means a subscription can never quietly bill you for a month you did not intend to use — and it means a renewal will not happen unless you act on it.

  1. Your cycle endsThe invoice for the new cycle is issued and we email you a link to it.
  2. You pay itFrom Account → Billing, or the Renew button on the invoice itself.
  3. Access continuesThe invoice is marked paid and your credits are topped up for the new cycle.

If an invoice goes unpaid

Access does not stop the moment a payment is late. There is a grace window of 3 days, during which your plan and your credits work exactly as normal.

WhenWhat happensYour access
Cycle ends Invoice issued, due in 3 days. Email sent. Full plan
During grace Reminder emails. Invoice shows as issued, then overdue. Full plan
Grace ends Subscription expires; account moves to the Free plan. Free plan limits
You pay later Invoice settles and the plan is restored immediately. Full plan

Nothing is deleted. Moving to the Free plan changes what you can do next — it does not remove your chats, projects or history. Credits already in your balance are not taken away either; you simply stop receiving a new allowance each cycle.

Payment methods and refunds

Payments are handled by a third-party gateway under that gateway's own terms. We never store your full card number.

Subscription fees and purchased credits are generally non-refundable, except where required by applicable consumer-protection law or where stated at the time of purchase — see the Terms of Service for the full wording.

Credits, and what uses them

Your plan grants a credit allowance each cycle. Chat, documents, images, video and audio each consume credits at their own rate, and separately count against daily fair-use limits.

Credits do not expire mid-cycle, and a top-up never removes credits you already hold — your balance is raised to at least the plan allowance, never lowered. For the daily limits and what each feature costs, see the Fair Usage Policy.
